Walter Bielser grew up in Pratteln and his father (Karl) was Abwart. So Buchdrucker Karl Bielser-Brunner who lived in Basel could be a different one. (link:

@db in the linked article, it’s written that the parents of Walter were caretaker in Pratteln (’Kind eines Abwartehepaars’). Walter attended Burggartenschule. (This is a primary school in Pratteln.) I don’t know if his father had a business. The birth register of Pratteln would help.
