There were two ’A Azzopardi’ featuring for Malta in this era. They were Alfred, whom you have listed here, and Alex. On this occasion it was left-back Alex Azzopardi who featured in their #3 shirt rather than central defender Alfred. I am aware that my visual reference from the video of the game doesn’t count as a reliable enough source, but Alex Azzopardi is indeed featured in other sources, like the one I have attached.
