It was probably Michael Galea, not Lino Galea who entered. MFA has only 2 caps for Lino but 8 for Michael but this site only 7...

It was Lino Galea and not Michael Galea who came in as substitute instead of David Carabott. Here is the full squad of Malta which travelled to Sarajevo for the match. There is Lino Galea in the squad but not Michael Galea.

In addition, the substitution happened in the 80th minute not in the 89th minute. In fact, the captain’s armband changed hands three times in those last ten minutes. First captain David Carabott passed it to Gilbert Agius who in turn was substituted with three minutes left and he passed the captain’s armband to Hubert Suda who was replacing him.
